» Exploration [Event Open]

Dave had continued to spend his time in Arcadios exploring, simply because he still lacked things to do for entertainment. He was honestly running out of places to explore at this point so he’d have to find something to do sooner rather than later. As he tried to think of places that could possibly provide some entertainment, Polis seemed the most likely candidate, Dave felt the ground begin to shake.

What the hell? An earthquake… well that actually was something more normal than a bunch of his surroundings. At least earthquakes existed back home. Thus, he paid the earth’s movement no heed for the time being and simply continued to wander around, eventually discovering that something had changed. Could it have been the earthquake? No matter what the cause, this at least gave the teen something new to explore at least for the time being.

It didn’t take Dave too much effort to climb down through the caves since he was a fairly acrobatic guy when it was necessary. There really wasn’t anything exciting about the caves themselves, still just caves. Yet he kept going…. what else was there to do anyway? Eventually the wandering around in the dark dank caverns paid off. He stood before… a bunch of doors. Not overtly exciting either on their own, but in theory the possibilities as to what might be behind them were endless. Dave starting trying doors, only to realize he couldn’t open them. How annoying. He sighed, continuing until he finally reached a door he could actually open. He should have figured the one with a freaking phoenix on it would open…

Dave promptly took a step inside, too interested in the possibility of curing his boredom to worry about any possible danger that might await. Luckily there was no such danger. Behind the door was… a totally different place? Well the lack of spatial logic shouldn’t have been surprising. If Dave hadn’t been wearing his usual sunglasses, the sun would have probably blinded him.

His surroundings didn’t seem too different from the Arcadios he had just left. Yet at the same time they were different. There was a clear difference in the buildings around him. He started to head towards them, intrigued to see that the building actually looked more modern than the huts back in the villages. What sorts of new things and people might be found here to entertain the bored boy?
